About This Series

Letters to Marie are quiet reflections written by Josephine.
They are responses—sometimes immediate, sometimes delayed—to reading Marie’s writing about disability, independence, and lived experience.

These letters are not explanations.
They don’t offer answers or conclusions.

They are moments of becoming.

Some letters come from admiration.
Some from comparison.
Some from feelings that don’t fit neatly into words.

Josephine writes them anyway.
